As I pursue the development of a field deployable methane gas sensor, I am diving deeper into the specifics of the off-the-shelf NDIR sensor modules. The table below contains a short list of the sensors I evaluated recently (How to Choose a Methane Sensor for Monitoring Concentration NEAR the LEL). This list includes only sensors whose datasheets reported a resolution. I am developing sensor characterization at Redwood Labs but until that system is ready, I need to be able to assess the relative performance of these sensors before making a purchase and integrating them into my methane gas sensor product line or any client system I am working on.

I have already ordered and installed the eLichens Mulberry sensor into a prototype I am working on. Since the resolution and accuracy seem to be slightly better on the SGX module, I just today placed an order for one of them.
